28 weeks!

My BIG OLE PREGNANT Self @ 27 weeks!

Well we have a little more/little less than 12 weeks to go until we meet our little Ethan! I cannot believe that my next dr.'s appt is in 2 weeks then shortly after that every week! I felt like the beginning of this pregnancy snailed on by...but now it seems to be on overdrive. I will be so happy to have him here, happy & healthy, considering the few crazy things that have happened this go around.

Anyways, he is doing great! Measuring right on schedule, head down (super low!!) and a grooving & a shaking like his big sister did! He definately hits like a boy :-) I can tell he is gonna be a long one like Abs too. Underneath my right rib has already started giving me some discomfort...so its only a matter of time before both sides do that...just like his sissy!

That is all for now! Hope you enjoy these cute pictures of the Big Sister :-)
Unorganizing the diaper bag & checking out all the baby wipes :-)

Her first time having her toenails painted by Mommy! I cannot believe she sat still long enough!

Being silly with one of mommy's headbands!

Has anyone seen Abby? :-)

Miss Picasso is 17 months old!

I cannot believe my little Abster is 17 months old! It seems like time goes by faster and faster everyday. She changes so much from one day to the next & shocks me with new words (good ones & bad ones too...bad mommy!)

Abby had her 2nd sick baby appointment EVER last week. We only made it through 2 days at MMO before she got her first cooties, but that is what I expected. She is 100% back to her old crazy self and we are so happy she is. She was so cuddly when she was sick & actually napped with me 2 days in a row! But I needed my goof goof girl back!

Yesterday, I noticed some very pretty artwork on the COUCH! :-) It came off super easy but I still wonder how she snuck by me with 6 different colored crayons and colored a nice stripe on each couch cushion?? She loves her "Colwors" as she calls them.

Anyways, here is a little of what she is up to at 17 months old:

- You are already in your big girl bed! And you LOVE LOVE LOVE It! You have made the transition so much easier on your mommy & daddy than we ever could have thought! You love your room & your toys and make a good old mess, but will always get back in your bed to go Night Night!

- You are still a good sleeper! You go to bed around 7:30-8 everynight and don't get up most days until after 7am! Mommy thanks you B!

- You are "broadening" your horizons when it comes to fruit. You love "Nanas" and are starting to like apples & grapes, except that you suck all the juice out then put the remainder on your tray. Its better than nothing though! :-)

- You are quite the talker! You can say all the basics - plus a few of mommy & daddy's favorites like All Right, mushy, nite nite, cow, watch & shower "Shaww." You even suprised mommy when she got out the fall decorations for the house by saying "punkin"

- You L-O-V-E Elmo! Everyone who comes to the house gets introduced to your new life size Elmo doll! We are glad you love someone as sweet as him :-)

- You love the tub! You even try to get in with mommy when she is trying to relax in the tub :-) Or try to get mommy to get in if she bathes you in the BIG tub!

- You are all about your "Choos"! I think your Nana is to blame for this one...but I've got to say I love that you love all your shoes! Especially your cowgirl boots!

Thank you Abby for being such a good, sweet, happy little girl! You only get frustrated when you need help and then your happy again! You are such a blessing & I know you will be the best big sister! Mommy & Daddy love you B!

Auburn Cheerleader In The House!!

On Saturday we were fortunate enough to have a "REAL" Auburn Cheerleader in the house. Well she hasn't officially cheered for them yet or been accepted to AU, but all in due time right? haha!

Our little Abby had a great time watching the Auburn game with our friends Melanie & Bryan and Jennifer & Jimbo! She hammed it up for them and even stayed up until the game was (FINALLY!) over! That had to be the longest, most boring game in AU football history, but we won! SO that works for me!

On another note - Abby has peepeed in her big girl potty 2 times now! She is sooo ready for potty training, so that is our next big adventure. Any advice anyone has would be appreciated! So far I am deciding that this will start in the next few weeks...goal - diaper free before Ethan gets here...so we shall see!

That's all for now! Tootles!

Waiting...

This morning I had my Glucose Tolerance Test and to put it mildly I would love to drink a gallon of the red koolaid they gave me last week compared to the orange syrup I had to force down this morning. :-) I had no idea that the "3 hour test" meant that you got your blood drawn every hour for 3 hours...I thought I would get my finger pricked again after the 3 hour waiting period! So this was all new to me! But I fortunately had an awesome nurse who knew exactly what she was doing, so it pinched a little each time, but nothing like the super hematoma I got one time before. I also got to look at a ton of birth announcements & get some good ideas for little E-man's announcement. Anyways, I could hear something tommorow but it will more than likely be Monday since my doctor will be out after tommorow. That's all for now!!

Mother's Morning Out!!

Abby did so great this morning at Mother's Morning Out! She walked right in and started playing. At least there were no tears...from either of us :-) I got to do so much for the short time she was there. I went to the gym, cleaned the bathrooms, did laundry & even had time to meet my sweet hubby for lunch! Then we headed back over to pick Abby up! She was just a playing & so happy to see us...okay, okay! She was way more HAPPY to see her Dada, but that is fine with me :-) Her teachers said she did so good, and that it took her a while to realize I had left, but she did cry for a minute when she realized it! And she ate all her lunch! Which has been a sore spot for us lately! So YAY for Abby!!
Anyways, here are some pictures of my lil abs! Tootles!

Abby has gotten so comfortable in her big girl bed that she will get down and wander around. Since we have a baby gate up she can't get out. I just loved seeing this when I woke up Sunday morning. Notice the clothes stuffed into the dresser - clothes that I had folded to put up the next day! What a good little helper :-)

I have quite the little mommy on my hands! She just loves to feed her babies & always says, "Ahhh Baby" when taking care of them! Hopefully she will want to help with her little brother too!

On the way to school!

F!

That is what I made on my glucose tolerance test this morning at my doctor's appt! I for one was shocked, but then again nothing would suprise me this pregnancy. I told my doctor that I am looking to flunk all my tests..haha! All kidding aside, I have the pleasure of going back next week to drink more yummy (barf!) red koolaid then sit for three...yes THREE hours to wait for them to retest my blood sugar. Hopefully I will be cleared at that point, but who knows?

On a good note: I am measuring right on the money & Ethan's heartbeat sounded so strong. He moves & grooves alot now and I am starting to look preggie. Starting being the key word! Today this momma got some much needed r&r before heading home to my crazy kiddo & sweet hubbie who cooked some yummy dinner. For my birthday, my parents & Gma & AC got me a 1/2 day spa package - a preggo massage (heaven), a facial (much needed), lunch (a brownie & salad), pedi & mani! I was there for almost 5 hours and was dying to find a clock. I have no clue what time I ate lunch, etc...that is probablly the first time a clock hasn't ruled my life since Abs was born. So I am refreshed & recharged for my active & precious kiddo!

Abby starts Mother's Morning Out tommorow! Wish her luck & me to not cry! I am so nervous, but happy that she will get to hang with some kiddos her age! Hopefully tommorow I will post about my little mommy & her super fun time at school!

Tootles!
