32 weeks

Today I went for my 32 week appt ( actually 31 wk 4day appt) and everything looks great for little E! His heartbeat was very strong, measuring to the day, and also head down and in position. I am still experiencing a little swelling in my legs/ankles, and hands, but that is just the difference in pregnancies. My wonderful doctor pointed out that I still had anklebones so that must mean I am in good shape. MY hubbie treated me to a pedicure (much needed) today after my appointment and I couldn't be happier! My feet have hurt like they have never hurt before.

Anyways, that is all for now! We go back to the doctor in 2 weeks then start our weekly appointments. Little E's clothes are cleaned and ready for him, as is his bedding with a few minor touches his room should be done in about a week. Pictures to come then :-)

Down on the Patch!

On Friday, our dada got off earlier than expected and we went ahead to Dreamfield Farms. It was way more fun than we could have ever imagined. Two of our favorite things, "punkins" and animals were there...We loved the donkeys, pigs and even had a baby goat that followed us around. It was wonderful since it wasn't really crowded and our wild kiddo could roam about, and boy did she! To end the day we went and she picked out a cow cupcake, or "cake" as she calls it! She is my child, and therefore ate her entire cupcake without sharing her mommy & brother a single bite :-) haha!! Anyways here are some of her pictures! Also, please note I have been taking sewing classes to work on little E's bedding and took a break one week to make some pants...yep, I'm shocked too! I made the pants in the pictures & Miss Charlotte did the applique top! If you need anything cute for Halloween, check her our on FB - K & H Florist.

18 Months!!

Well this morning was the Abster's 18 month checkup! She did much better than last time....at first :-) We played in the house and waved at a everyone in the waiting room! We didn't even cry when they called our name! She was happy for the 15 minutes we waited...then it was time to get weighed! She got so upset because they tried to put her on the baby scale. (side note: the normal nurse wasn't there....she knows to put us on the big girl scale) So after 3 attempts to lay her down, I asked can we just do the stand up scale. But she replied that she wouldn't be able to do that...but hey its not my job right :-) Then we finally got her weight. But the way we got it was to weigh this almost 8 months preggo momma holding her kiddo then weigh me without the kiddo :-) Fun stuff!! Anyways, after that was over we went back into the room to get measured...again no fun! But we got it easier than the weight. Then she started to ask me all about what "he" was doing...to which i responded everytime, "yes, she is". Finally after 4 more "he" questions, I said "SHE" really loudly. Not that I care that someone calls my beautiful little girl a boy, but come on "his" name is Abby :-) haha! After we calmed down we got to visit with Dr. D! I must say that I love our pediatrician! First off, she is female and has kids! She has been there and done that, and gives me more info & advice than I would ever think to ask about! We did ask about our pacy...since we have become blankey & pacy psycho people around here! We got our flu shot and our 2nd to last shot until we are 5 years old! I know Abby will be very happy to know that :-)

Anyways, onto her stats:
weight : 22lbs (25%) I promise we do feed this kiddo! She is just very "active" (understatement)
height: 32 1/2 inches (75%)
head: 46 1/2 cm (50%)

Onto what she is doing at 18 months:
-TALKING TALKING TALKING - they asked me if she knew at least 3 words and used them regularly. Well this kiddo probablly knows about 50 words and uses about 20 regulary (give or take) Ex: I sneezed the other night at dinner, and she said "Xcuse me" haha!!
-She is eating all things (except ice cream) that are sweet, apples & bananas, "mickey" chicken, green beans, CHEESE, Cackers, squash, broccoli. This kid loves pancakes, waffles & "catch-it" ketchup!
-She loves to be outside! I am so glad the weather is cooling off, because it was too hot for big ole belly to be outside, but now it is much better! She says "side" or "out". She loves to go on car rides, or "beep beep" as she calls it.
-She loves animals - dogs, cats, cows, chickens, you name it and she loves it!
-She is an AUBURN girl! She loves Aubie, tigers and saying War Eagle, sounds more like weagle weagle :-)

All this brain can think of for now! Just happy & fat :-) Loving my little girl, belly & life! Only 7 more weeks until we meet our little brother!! OMG!!

Hayride!

This weekend we had some friends in town! Boy did Abs & little MG have a great time! I have never seen Abs play with anyone like that unless it is our older cousins Huntley or Maddie. They ran around, squealed & giggled! It was just too cute! On Sunday we took the girls out to Shorter to go on a hayride & feed the ponies. We had a great time with the H's! Next time we are coming to you, I promise :-)
That is all for now! Hope you enjoy the pictures! Tommorow is Abs 18mth check up! I will post her stats when we get home!

30 Weeks & Booked!

So tommorow I will be 30 weeks preggo! I cannot believe that Ethan will be here in less than 9 weeks!! I am seeing the doctor now, every 2 weeks! I am really enjoying being pregnant -not the emotional outbursts & crying...but the eating is fun! haha! I feel more shoved in my body than last time. I can tell Mr. E has gotten big enough not kick so much, but when he moves now it was a wee bit more uncomfortable than it was with Abs...but again, loving this belly!!

At my dr. appt. everything looked/sounded great! I discussed when we could schedule our induction at the hospital, so that Ev can schedule his patient load for the days when he will be out. And to my suprise, my wonderful doctor called right then and scheduled our induction! So we will be heading to Baptist East on Wednesday (night) Dec 8th and meeting our precious little boy on Thursday Dec 9th! It is cool to think that I will have April 9th & Dec 9th babies!! But he may have a mind of his own like his big sister, so we shall see! Here are some pictures of his room so far...I am finishing the last bumper pad and I will post a picture of the finished product! That's all for now!!
