Word!

Well our little gal is talking up a storm. She has shocked me so much with words that she knows and uses like she has been forever. This weekend I was eating dinner and she screamed ( i am not exaggerating either...haha!) BIIIITE! Bite! Bite! So she was holding out on me and knew how to say bite. Today she said light (aight) while riding in her cart at the grocery store and pointing to the ceiling. Then came my favorite of today...her Papa had a the pantry door open and she saw what she wanted. And out came cracker (kaker) which she had NEVER said before that moment. It really makes me happy & scared that she knows words but just doesn't use them unless she needs too. What else has she heard mommy??? I know now that the spelling age is upon us and that we need to make sure everything said out loud is for tiny ears :-)

I pray for more patience everyday. I mean let's face it, being a stay at home mom isn't always peachy. We don't eat bon bons and watch Oprah all day (unless the kiddo is asleep...haha!) Well today was a good day with a little sprinkle of unexpected actions from the kiddo as usual. First, she threw her plate FULL of her lunch on the floor! Then we were playing later and she took the remote control off the coffee table and threw it down and yelled "NO!" Needless to say, it showed me again that momma needs to act right. Not that I go around yelling NO! and throwing things :-) No Jerry Springer in our house. But I do sometimes overreact...i promise this is only genetic (haha!) So I will be trying to watch my p's & q's more now than ever because of our sweet & extremely impressionable kiddo! Anyways, that is all for now! We go for our 20 week visit in the AM, and we are so excited to see Ethan again!

Ethan Farley Marshall

So as you can tell by this blog post we have picked a name. No Jr. for us :-) But he will have the same initials as his daddy and that suits us just fine! I have been busy with cheer camp & preparing for cheer camp, but I can check that off my list. The girls did so great & I am so proud of what they accomplished!! Go Knights!! :-)

Anyways, we are almost 1/2 way through this pregnancy and that is mind bloggling to me! We go to the Dr. next week and will get to see little Ethan again since this was the original date we were supposed to find out boy or girl! It will be fun to see how much he has grown! He is getting more active everyday. So far he likes music like his big sister did!

More to come later! That's all for now & soaking up my missed time this week with my little Abster!!

Abby is 15 Months old!!!

Well to say I cannot believe my Abster is 15 months old is an understatement. We are having a yard sale this weekend to rid our house of somethings that won't fit when little brother arrives, but it made me sad. I am selling some of Abby's play clothes. The ones of course I just couldn't part with are the majority of her newborn clothes. I cannot believe how tiny she was, and that my little itty bitty baby has turned into such a beautiful & sweet little girl. She is super silly too!

This morning we went to see Dr. D for our check up! For the most part we cried or whined since we knew what was to come at the end of our appointment -- only 2 shots today! Not too bad, but we had a few crocodile tears regardless!

Our 15 Month Stats:
Weight: 20lbs 10oz - 20%
Height: 31 inches - 70%
Head: 18 - 50%

What I am up to:
- I go to bed around 7:45 every night and sleep until about 7:15.
- I take one good nap a day, normally after lunch for about 2-3 hours (my mommy loves this!)
- I love animals! Dogs, Sheep, Pigs, Roosters, Cows & Horses!
- I can say alot of my animals sounds! The funniest one is for the Rooster - I say, "NOOOOOOOO" This makes my mommy & dada laugh
-I can repeat almost everything you say (which means mommy needs to be more careful)
Example: I asked if she had gone peepee and she said peepee. The next day after Oscar peepeed on our bed (bad hairy brother!!) she pointed to Oscar and said peepee! What a little sponge she is!
-She says: Momma, Daddy, Papa, PopPop, Nana, Meme, Cin (for my Aunt Cindi), elbow, apple, cheese, juice, ball, bye, peas, sometimes thank you, side (for outside) Elmo, Barney (bar) and can count to two.
-She loves: Milk, Juice, Cottage Cheese, ALL CHEESE, meat, green beans, spaghetti, bananas, & bread. Oh yes, anything sweet too!! :-)
-I still love Yo Gabba Gabba, Max & Ruby, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Elmo & Sesame Street. I really like Barney too!

That is all I can think of that this kiddo is up too! She is into everything, and drives us a little crazy sometimes. We are working on getting her to nap in her big girl bed, which she really just wants to explore right now! I will post some new pictures next post! :-)

It's a Boy!!

So after a little scare last week, we got to find out what we were having about 3 weeks earlier than we expected. The baby looked great on the ultrasound and when they told me what it was I about fell out! I knew this baby was a boy, I could just tell. There have been a few major differences with this pregnancy than the one with Abs. I know they are all different, but I just knew! Now we are starting to get the house ready to welcome our little boy home in December. I was terrified with the thought of having a boy. I am a girl mom :-) I had all girl cousins & all girl nieces until recently! I know nothing about teetees :-) haha! But with that in mind, I couldn't be more happy to be the mommy of a little girl & boy! I feel blessed that he is healthy and cannot wait to meet him this fall. Hey, maybe he will even look like me :-)

Anyways, we get to see him again at my next Appointment in 2 weeks! That is all on the little man for now...hopefully a name coming soon!!

First Hair Cut & Feeding Ducks!

On Saturday, July 3rd, we got together to eat dinner with Nana & Papa, Aunt Cindi & Great Grammy. We also got Great Grammy to trim Abby's mullet :-) Of course I saved the hair and it made me suprisingly sad that she had to have a haircut. But I was very glad that GG could do it. And it looks much better too!

This weekend we also took Abby to the Shakespeare Festival Park to feed the ducks! She really enjoyed them, and found them really funny! I did too until some creepy Geese came and one had his tongue out! Big birds freak this mommy out :-)

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! I have been enjoying going and visiting my new nephew Matthew and spoiling him! He likes me already I think! We took Abby to meet him, and you will see that we have no pictures. That is because Abby didn't even notice him! She loved their dog Gracie, and that their house isn't babyproofed! Haha! Anyways, that is all for now! Tootles!

Updates!!!

My doctor's appointment today was great! The babies heartbeat was again music to my ears! It is still surreal even though this isn't our first time at this. And it also makes me feel better since I don't look preggers yet and hearing that makes me know Baby Marshall is still cooking good. They did my 2nd trimester blood work, so I am hoping not to hear anything back. This time was much better, no golf ball sized hematoma for me, just a teeny tiny dot! We have a date!! On July 27th at 11am, we will find out if it will be pink again or blue! I am thinking boy and ev is thinking girl :-) I cannot wait to find out!

Tonight, my sweet sister in law Meredith & her hubbie Matt will check into the hospital to welcome their first baby tommorow. We couldn't be more excited for them to begin this journey tonight! They were troopers and didn't find out the baby's sex, so it will be so exciting for them and us when Matt comes to tell us who has joined our family!! I hope I can keep it together, as lately I get emotional (thank you Sandra Bullock in Blind Side...tear jerker!!) I will post an update tommorow...hopefully!

If i don't post the stats/updates it is probablly because I am in my bed asleep! Tonight, along with my buddie Katherine, I will be going to the premiere of The Twilight Saga : Eclipse! I am so excited!! The movie starts at 11:59pm! The last time I stayed up that late was when I went to visit my besties at the lake a few weeks ago! I know I will have no problem staying awake during the movie...but it will be over at 3am! AHHH! Then I will be home asleep, and getting up at 8 to head to the hospital for a day of waiting...good waiting! So we shall see! I am getting vampire-eyezd too! I have my Edward shirt and hopefully some contacts to wear, courtesy of my sexy optometrist husband!

Anyways, tootles for now!

14 1/2 months going on 14

It's hard to believe that we have gone from this...
...to this
In such a short amount of time. In the past 2 weeks I have seen so many changes in my sweet, independent, dependent little girl. She has really started talking alot in the past 3 days. She will repeat most words, like juice, cheese, applesauce & elbow (which sound the same), ball, nana, mimi. She has started wanting to take her shirt off, if daddy has his off. So the joy that is after bath time aka mommy chasing the kiddo to put lotion, diaper & jammies on, all goes kaput because I get those jammies off & less than 15 minutes later she takes them back off. Anyways, back to the story...so she takes her shirt off then wanders towards the kitchen and comes back with her pants off too. Lucky for us the diaper stayed on - so she laid out on the floor hamming it up. I asked her did you pee-pee in your diaper, and just like that, she said "pee pee." I know it is a bodily function, but it sounded so sweet coming out of her mouth :-) haha!!!
We also have a couch climber on our hands - this stresses me out so much! So far she has only fallen once and that only deterred her for like 10 minutes til she was back trying again. Abby is also learning to test limits...like when I say No, she keeps on doing what she is doing. Stop has proven to be a better word, since she will say No No No! It would help if daddy could stop laughing when she says no, but hey it is funny :-)
Anyways, that is all that my pregnant brain can think of right now! We go back to see Dr. Lawhon next Tuesday & I am so excited. Then I will have a date for the big ultrasound to see who is hanging out in my tummy.
We are also waiting (right now actually) to hear if we will meet our newest Marshall baby next Wednesday. I am so excited for Everett's brother Matt & his sweet wife Meredith! Ever since I saw my sweet Abby for the first time, I have been even that much more excited for parents-to-be that I know to meet their little ones. It is truly a miraculous event! Even more exciting is that Matt & Meredith didn't find out the sex of baby m! We will all be suprised! More on that later...tootles for now!
