On Tuesday, I had an ultrasound to better date my pregnancy. This time I got to see a precious teeny-tiny beating heart. It is just amazing to be a witness to the greatness & miracle of that God can do. That little thing was just booming :-) It made me feel so much better. And we found out that we will most definitely be staying at home for Christmas this year. I mean, we always stay home because we are fortunate to have most of our family close by, but with a week old or less than 2 week old, we won't be venturing out in the cold. That is one thing I am most concerned about. Last time, we brought a "fresh one" home :-) ( don't you just love my nicknames for things..haha!) it was April and sunny & warm. This time...in the thick of an Alabama winter - but you never know how this weather could be right?
We are also having deep convo's about what to do about Abby's sleeping arrangements. We don't want to kick her out of her crib, just cause someone else needs to use it. Mommies who have been through this, what did you do?? We are thinking that we will just get her a toddler bed, because the daybed we had "planned" to use for her it just too big for this BIG little girl :-) Or I have read about putting the twin mattress on the floor until they get used to it...Can you tell I have researched, thought, obsessed about this?? Really, any advice is GREAT!
Sorry, lost my train of thought ( it happens alot around here) - back to the pregnancy. I feel good, and ready to get a belly again! :-) I have been nauseated for about a week now. It is different that with Abby. It could be much worse, but i just feel like my tummy is off all day. The only thing that seems to keep it better is stuffing my face with food. I was never this hungry with Abby as I have so far. We just ate lunch less than 2 hours ago and I am already hungry. I don't want to gain a ton of weight right off the bat, but what to do??? Make healthier decisions right? haha! Cake is a healthy option right? It has eggs in it! haha!!
As far as the Abster goes...she is going, going, going! All day long! She is hilarious and is "talking" so much now. To a magazine, her book, the chair, her pink princess potty, Oscar, and us...it is just precious to hear her sweet little voice. We did her 1 year pictures this morning with Miss Suzanne! We chased her around...I really mean it! That is what we did for an hour. I will post the link for our sneak peek as soon as it is up.
That's all for now! :-)

So I have decided to move York upstairs and luckily his crib is a convertable so I will probably keep it a "crib" if he isn't ready to go straight into the toddler option of the bed...I will also move Yorks dresser and bookself up as well. I am going to keep the bed that is in that room as well. Going to buy the new baby a new crib. If it is another boy then I will most likely use Yorks bedding. And get him something else for the toddler bed.. bc it wont need a bumper or any of that. If its a girl... I will buy all new. I have a girlfriend whose little ones are 16 months apart and both boys are in cribs in different rooms... her 16 mo old wasnt ready to come out of the crib yet. It works great! Sorry for the lengthy explaination! You'll figure it out... No worries Momma! Congrats again!
So.... we struggled with the same thing... David LOVES his crib... has never attempted to climb out and sometimes asks to go to "bed" just to lay in there. However, he will be two when this one is born, so we decided to go ahead and get him a big boy bed. Scary!!! Not quite sure how the whole thing will go down... but I'll let you know!
