So as you can tell from the title of this blog...I got some exciting news at my doctor's appointment this morning. For starters, I am already 1cm dilated and my cervix is very soft and beginning to efface/thin. This news was really exciting for us! Also, Dr. Lawhon went ahead and scheduled us for our induction in about 2.5 weeks. We will be celebrating Easter at Baptist East - we go in on Sunday, April 12th and will be induced on Monday, April 13th. So our precious Abby will be here on Monday the 13th!
It is surreal to know the date you will meet your child...if i make it the 19 days until then.
We go back to the doctor next Tuesday at 1:30pm, so we will take it from there!
Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers during this amazing experience. 3 weeks from now our first born will be here, and we couldn't be happier or more anxious to meet her!

How exciting!!! That is exactly what I did at 36 weeks. However, I was 1-2 cm and 80% effaced for three more weeks. I can't wait to meet Abby!! Call me if you need anything!
OMG, not much longer and you will have your precious baby!!! Wes are so excited for you guys and Anna can't wait to meet her new little playmate! We're thinking and praying for a safe and healthy baby and mommy!
