2 months old & terrible twos...almost!

Well let me start this post by saying that I cannot believe Ethan is already two months old! He is such a sweet baby boy when he isn't fussing from his gas. He has gotten alot better this past week...not so much "would make a trucker blush" gas :-) We went to see Dr. D yesterday and she was happy at how little...i mean, umm...BIG man has grown.

Our 2 month Stats:
Weight : 12lbs 8oz up from 7lbs 2 oz at birth
Length : 24 inches up from 20 inches at birth

He is such a BIG boy! He outweight his sister by 2 pounds at this age and just slightly shorter than she was, but catching up quickly. He is rolling over from his tummy to back all the time, loves his play gym, loves to smile and have a conversation! He loves his mommy, and tolerates his bathtime. I am still shocked that I have only been teeteed on a handful of times! He is wearing 3 month clothes and I expect him to be in 6 month ones by 3 months! He is taking about 4-5 oz per feeding about every 3 to 4 hours give or take. He is getting up once a night normally going to bed about 8 or 9 and waking around midnight or 1am then getting up again around 5. I will take it! I am hoping he is like his sissy and starts sleeping through the night at 2 1/2 months!

Onto my 22 month old...Miss Priss, DIVA, Boss Lady! This week the terrible twos have begun to rear their ugly heads! From the air slapping she does when you tell her no (still partially my sweet angel, when I told her it wasn't nice to try to hit mommy...said I sorry mommy and hugged me) to our newest thing having every sentence or question have the word my in it. As in , My Milk? My car, my pacy, my shirt, my cup, my....i think you get my drift. It is hilarious to hear her say it because she says it over and over and over! She is still my sweet baby most of the time, but definately getting very independent!

Introducing my children - Gas Man and Poop Paint Queen!

Yes...the title of this post is a bit unusual and if you know me that is to be expected :-) I can't wait to be able to embarass the kiddos with it when they get older. Well, Ethan's gas isn't his fault but he can sure make a trucker blush! We are switching back to Enfamil Gentlease to see if it helps since we were using Similac. Side Note: I was using Similac because they actually sent me a TON of coupons and this time Enfamil did not! I used ENfamil and loved it with the Abster so this left me a bit bitter. But since its what is best for the kiddo I will switch back! Stinky Enfamil people!

Onto the Poop Queen of mine! Today I put her down for a nap and went to do my workout video only to realize she was awake a playing. I figured she was fine since she kept saying hey momma and waving! After I finished my video I discovered why she was awake and why she was probablly waving! She had bright green poop all over her shirt leg and hand! Straight to the tub we went and washed it all off! Then it was back to the room to see what "damage" she had done. Very minimal but could have been much worse...just a few little green places on rug. The cupcake I got her from Nancy's Italian Ice yesterday was the culprit for the bright green poopy...but it was well worth it! She just loved it! The last time the poop fairy visited was when we were in the hospital having Ethan so I didn't have to tend to that one. And sounded far worse with the bed involved! But hey...when you have kiddos poop is always in the picture right!! Hahaha!

Anyways, I think I have grossed you out enough and also said poop enough to last a few weeks! Tootles!

haha! Don't you just love the title to this post! I sure win the corny award of the day! Anyways, onto buisness!! Today was Ethan's 1 month appt! And I was so excited to see what he weighed!

Here are our stats:
Weight - 9lbs 13 oz - 50% YES...that is up a whopping 3lbs from our last visit!!
Height - 22 1/2 inches - 70%
Head - 36.25 cm - 50%

We had a great visit with Dr.D! She is just wonderful and such a great lady! Little guy is growing great, eating great and such a sweet boy! And boy does he love his momma ;-) Besides the stinky old shot we got we had a great visit!

He already outweighs Abby (when she was 1 mth old) by 1lb 10oz and is just 1/8 of a inch shorter than she was. And thankfully his head is a tad smaller than hers!

4 weeks old & WDE!

E-money...the new, fabulous, however ghetto-fabulous name I have started to call my little boy, is already 4 weeks old! It is so hard to believe (i always say that...broken record) !! We go back to the doctor for his 1 month visit on Wednesday and I cannot wait to see how much weight he has gained. I am betting around 9lbs or so! He is such a good eater and loves all things boobie & Similac :-) He is changing so much and this week it was way more evident than in weeks past! He is only waking up about 2 -3 times at nighttime which means for a happier mommie and baby!

This week was the most trying one for a new mother of two! Abby came down with a diarrhea and throw up virus...beginning Sunday morning and having her last nasty diaper yesterday. She was soooo irritable this week and whiny. But she just didn't feel good at all, and she was adjusting so well to being a big sister. But today she was back as my normal Abs...still a bit more whiny than usual, but hey I would be whiny too!! Glad to have her, my grandma, great aunt and my dad better finally (we like to share germs) and I am "officially" a mom :-) as in I got puked on! This was payback for the times I puked on you mom! love you!

Anyways, tomorrow morning we send our dada off to Las Vegas for his mini-vacay AKA Glendale & National Championship! We hope he brings our TIGERS some good luck! WDE!!

I will do a more detailed post about Ethan on Wednesday! Tootles!
